Dr. Valerie Thomas, School of Systems and Industrial Engineering, Georgia Tech

Dr. Thomas is the Anderson Interface Associate Professor of Natural Systems in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, with a joint appointment in the School of Public Policy. Her research interests are sustainability, energy and materials efficiency, industrial ecology, technology assessment, international security and technology policy.

Mr. Suhas Apte, Vice President of Global Sustainability, Kimberly-Clark Corporation

During his 34 years of experience, Suhas has developed a valuable global perspective and network based on a broad career path, leading tissue and personal care businesses in Asia, Europe and the US. Mr. Apte currently leads a diverse global sustainability organization that involves energy management, EH&S, product quality and overall sustainability strategy.

Mr. Cullen L. Hackler, Principal – BalancePoint Advisors

Throughout his 39 years in the chemicals, coatings and ceramics industries, Cullen has gained experience in both line operation and senior staff management. His expertise includes the areas of R & D, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, services, quality systems and business/leadership development consulting.
